3. year 2010/2011 Documentary film implementation – directing
| Summary: | Gregor Čušin isn't just an actor in Ljubljana City Theatre. He also performs in various venues around Slovenia, mostly in parishes where he gets invited. His plays are with free entry, but he asks people at the start of every performance for voluntary contributions. Every one of his performances present a risk whether he'll get enough money for his family or not. He found his purpose in life in his plays, but he feels he is needed also at home with his wife and six children. He says for himself that he is an extremist - and proves that all the time. In his plays he's never self-indulgent and never spares a harsh word for the Church, even though he says he's a part of it. In this film he goes to perform his play Jonah, a furious prophet to a small town in Slovenia, we can see him as Harpagon in stage play The Miser and most importantly film lets him speak about his »fury« towards those, who can't decide what principles to follow in life. |
